Business Information: Starting as a hobby in 1993, Dr Tang developed one of the first dial-up Usenet BBS where dentists could communicate with each other on dental topics. From this, he started up Health Referral Network, Inc. As President, Dr Tang facilitated the design of a searchable database of physicians, dentists, and other healthcare providers on the Internet. His business grew to include services such as designing Web-pages for healthcare providers and organizations, consulting, lecturing in areas of Lan, WAN, and software and latest technological advances as it relates to the dental and healthcare field. Concurrently, he owns and operates Brookfield Family Dentistry- a dental Practice comprised of general dentists and specialists, which provides a warm, friendly, welcoming environment with special technology such as computerized imaging, intraoral cameras, computerized charting, and comprehensive infection control program. Aside from basic dental care, some of the services that are provided are Whitening of Teeth, Veneers, Tooth Colored Restorations, TMD/TMJ, Children's Dentistry, Orthodontics (Braces), and Periodontics (Gums). His specialty work is in the area of aesthetic restorative dentistry and material science (Cosmetic Dentistry). His passion for the artistic component of technology has made him a leader in the area of advanced restorative dentistry. His accreditation and membership with three of the most prominent cosmetic dental societies has further recognized his specialty training: the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Society of Dental Esthetics, and the International Society of Dental Facial Esthetics, an organization where accreditation is given to less than five percent of it's membership who have demonstrated proficiency and leadership in the area of cosmetic dentistry.
